|
What should I bring? |
| |
Food and drinks for you and your group. Remembering it's only for a day,
not food for a week. And Polarized sunglasses are a must for cutting
the glare on the water so you can actually see the fish. |
|
Do I need a
jacket? |
| |
You can never go wrong bringing a light weight jacket. Some find the
wind while running refreshing and others find it chilling. In the winter
time a jacket or sweatshirt is necessary as well as a scarf for your
face. |
|
Can I keep fish for dinner? |
| |
We
practice catch and release to ensure the future of fishing.
|
|
Should I bring a
camera? |
| |
Yes, a camera is a good idea because there are many photo opportunities
through out the day. |
|
Can I mount my fish? |
| |
Yes, even with catch and release fish mounts are available through your
captain. They are an awesome way to remember your day on the water. |
|
Can I bring my
favorite fishing rod? |
| |
Usually yes, however, some tackle is not suitable for the fishing you
have planned so you're best to ask your captain once your trip is
booked. |
|
Should I tip the
captain? |
| |
Yes, a 15-25% gratuity is customary for a good day on the water. |
|
What if it rains? |
| |
"Liquid Sunshine" showers are possible in the tropics but usually pass
through quickly. Rain gear is provided. |
|
Where's the bathroom? |
| |
There is no bathroom on a flats skiff; however, we are usually no more
than 15 minutes from facilities if necessary. |
